The terms for working with us

Plain language, no legal padding. Last updated August 8, 2026.

What we do

Wingerd Media provides audiobook production, video production and editing, and social media management services. The specific scope, deliverables, and pricing for any project are agreed on directly with you before work starts, usually by quote or email, not buried in this page.

Payment

Invoices are due on the terms stated on the invoice itself. We reserve the right to pause active work if payment is significantly overdue. If you have a question about an invoice, email us before the due date and we’ll sort it out.

Your content, our work

You keep ownership of whatever you send us to work with: manuscripts, footage, photos, brand assets, and the rest. Once a project is paid in full, you own the finished deliverables too. We may use completed work in our own portfolio and marketing unless you ask us not to.

Third-party platforms

Some of our work involves publishing or scheduling content through outside platforms, including YouTube, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Google Business Profile, and social media scheduling tools. Each of those platforms has its own terms and policies that we don’t control, and we’re not responsible for changes those platforms make to their features, algorithms, or availability.

No guarantees on outcomes

We do good work, but we can’t promise specific results like view counts, follower growth, or engagement numbers. Platform algorithms and audience behavior are outside anyone’s direct control.

Ending a project

Either of us can end an engagement with reasonable notice. If work is already in progress, you’ll be billed for what’s been completed up to that point.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
